  I met your grandfather and Liz in Saratoga in the early 80’s. They became fast friends and I’ll never forget the parties on the yacht in Schuylerville. It was not uncommon to get a call from Liz at 10 or 11 at night to pop over for a drink. I also remember stopping out at the farm to chat with Tip as he was working on one of his many cars. I just finished your book and enjoyed it. As a former Rotary Exchange Student in Brazil I had some interesting talks with Tip about Brazil and his time there.

    My apologies for the delay in my reply – it’s so fun to read your comment, thank you! Liz was definitely a night owl, I can imagine her calling like that, and I well remember my grandfather’s car collection. One Bentley got delivered while I was visiting at Llangollen. Thank you for reading!
